A A friend from Balboa Park

   August 20. Sunday   

San Diego spent the past days by preparations for the storm, by its official name Hurricane Hilary. I have all groceries water and stuff that could be needed. Brought in everything that moves or could be moved from my balcony by the high winds,  except the humming bird feeder and nests that I prepared for them in case the storm finds them here.   For now it looks quiet; there is some light rain, but no winds so far.
